On the “Mediterranean coast day” (25. September) the Slovenian Ministry for agriculture and the environment will celebrate the anniversary of ratification of the Protocol on Integrated Coastal Zone Management in the Mediterranean, first signed by Slovenia in 2009.
At the event the results of successful projects will be presented and new projects will be proposed for the EU macroregional Adriatic-Ionic strategy 2014-2020.
DOPPS – BirdLife Slovenia will participate at the conference, too. Bojana Lipej will present the running activities on preparation of the Protocol for acting in case of accidental oil spills and occurence of oiled birds in the Slovenian sea. The protocol is being prepared as part of the project SIMARINE-NATURA.
The event will take place on Wednesday, 18th September 2013 in the Pretorska Palace in the city of Koper, Slovenia.
