In june we started monitoring seabirds at sea according to the standard ESAS methodology (European Seabirds at Sea). The monitoring, aiming at identifying the most important foraging areas of the Mediterranean Shags and other seabirds in Slovenian sea, is being done along 43 nautical miles (80 km) long transect.
