On Tuesday, 27th November 2012, the workshop about establishment and management of marine Natura 2000 sites for the Mediterranean Shag (Phalacrocorax aristotelis desmarestii) in Slovenia was carried out.
The workshop, hold in the Praetorian Palace in the coastal town of Capodistria, was the first in the series of four, which will be carried out during the implementation of the project SIMARINE-NATURA.
The aim of the workshops is communication between the project team, coastal local communities and diffierent governmental and nongovernmental organizations from the field of nature and environmental protection, fishery and mariculture, maritime transport, turism and other fields connected with marine environment in Slovenia.
