Project area

The project area extends accross entire Slovenian sea and it covers around 300 km2 of sea and 47 km of shore with four larger bays: Koper, Strunjan, Piran and sv. Jernej.

Conservation status of the project area

The areas with conservation status cover less than 1 % project area. Ther are 11 Natura 2000 sites (1 SPA and 10 pSCI) on the coast which cover about 21.800 ha.
